The owners of this traditional University Park home wanted an outdoor kitchen with a distinctly “Austin” vibe. Contemporary and modern but integrated into the main house, completed by home builder Robert Clark, with consistent materials and finishes. As kitchens go, this one was a professional’s dream with a wood-fired pizza oven, super-high temp grills, warming drawers, wood storage, chef’s pantry, seating for ten and even a dinner menu chalkboard. We topped it with a live roof garden, which we believe to be the only one in the Park Cities. We even made sure the grass driveway with special pavers could handle parked cars without damage to the existing massive tree. 

The neighborhood knew that a dinner invitation at this family’s extraordinary home was without a doubt, the hottest ticket in town.
