It’s not unusual for us to be brought into a project to do one thing—and then it grows into something really spectacular.
Initially, we were hired to renovate an existing swimming pool. After discussions with the client, we were given an expanded project scope. We did extensive remodeling of the swimming pool, creating and relocating the spa with a new water feature. We removed and replaced the decks and added a sun-tanning ledge, totally updated with new lights, fixtures, and features.
The structure at the rear of the pool was also part of the expanded scope. Because of limited access to the property we designed the entire structure to be constructed offsite in stainless steel pieces. We powder-coated each piece then transported the pieces for final assembly on site.
Details are the hallmark of spectacular projects, and this was no exception. The travertine surfaces were sourced with no pits or holes to trap dirt and mud. All the tiles were dry set without grout joints to prevent deterioration and keep maintenance to a minimum. Allowing the beauty of the project to endure.
And finally, we designed and installed the boxwood shrubbery over maintenance-free Conservation Grass to create the symmetrical quality that defines this formal classical garden.
