It’s not uncommon for our office to be engaged with a home that has had multiple owners. This gives us a unique perspective in crafting each owner’s vision with a comprehensive knowledge of the property.  

In this case, the most recent owner wanted a first-class remodel even though it was a newly built home. Along with builder Robert Clark and architect William Briggs, we were engaged from the beginning of the project. Every square inch of the residence was remodeled, including interiors designed by Laura Lee Clark. The pool and hardscape that we had installed under a previous owner underwent upgrading. 

The interesting thing to notice on this home is the topography of the backyard. The grade falls off more than five feet across the span of the yard. The manner in which we graded the property gave the impression that the yard was mostly flat. But, when viewed from the step down at the pool’s end looking up, the home and surroundings appear to grow in place. Conversely, views from inside the house are also enhanced, because of the change of planes.
